Wisconsin Main Street Program
Rhinelander is a designated Wisconsin Main Street Community.  This program was developed to enhance professional standards and provide a designation to those who have garnered expertise in the downtown revitalization profession.  We follow the Four Point Approach to commercial revitalization – Design, Organization, Promotion and Economic Restructuring.  Professional design or business assistance is available.

Quarterly Newsletter
This publication is distributed to Downtown community and businesses. It is designed to keep our businesses and friends of downtown informed about upcoming events, business district news and what’s coming. Business owners are encouraged to use the newsletter to share accomplishments.

Downtown Works
Downtown Rhinelander, Inc. financially supports this program intended to help facilitate new business startups, existing business expansion and necessary repairs to foster growth in our commercial district.  Loans ranging from $1,000 to $20,000 at a fixed rate of 1% to 3% with flexible repayment terms are available.

The new website will have many valuable benefits including current postings, related industry links, a calendar of events and available property postings.

Community Advocacy
Through our newsletter, email network and website, you will remain informed about local issues that may impact business district development. Moreover, Downtown Rhinelander, Inc. has representation in the region and the state along with other downtown advocacy groups.
